The Number Street Math Academy is an inquiry-based after-school program where children in small groups wrestle with challenging problems, develop problem solving skills, and gain confidence in their mathematical abilities. The math academy helps children become flexible in their knowledge, creative in approaching non-routine problems and logical thinking, a must in all subject areas.

 

The Number Street Math Academy combines best practices from current research in Mathematics Education, Singapore Math, and the Common Core State Standards. The program takes children at their readiness level and significantly increases their achievement in mathematics.
