Mathematics Education Professional Learning Courses             

 

The following courses are content courses in Mathematics Education and could be used for professional certification:

• Each course is taught for 6 full days.

• Participants may choose to take any (or all) course for 3 graduate credits. 

 

1. PERSEVERANCE AND PROBLEM SOLVING

    

2. NUMBER THEORY

    

3. ALGEBRA I:  THE POWER OF THE LINE

    

4. GEOMETRY I:  EUCLIDIAN GEOMETRY

    

5. FUNCTIONS AND ALGEBRA II

    

6. GEOMETRY II:  SOLIDS AND TRIGONOMETRY

    

7. CALCULUS I

    

 

A. The courses could be offered through a district, taught in a district, or online.

B. Individuals may wish to sign for course(s) on their own. In that case, the courses will be located at the Number Street PD room at 20 Hampden Dr., South Easton MA 02375.

• There is a minimum of 5 participants for a course to start.

• The price for 5 participants is $1,200 which includes 3 graduate credits.

• The price for 6 through 10 participants is $1,100 (includes 3 graduate credits).

• For more than 10 participants, the price is $1,000 (includes 3 graduate credits).
